Shipping varies according to where you are shipping. You will be able to see an estimated transit time at checkout before payment. Shipping transit times are only estimates however and are not a guarantee, as delays by couriers may happen that are out of our control.

Pre-order means you are ordering an item that is not currently available, in advance. We state an item is a "pre-order" on the product title, product description, a note at checkout to best communicate this to our customers. The date stated in product description or not, is the estimated day of shipping.

Yes - If your order has both a pre-order and in-stock item(s), the order will be held until it is all available to ship together. If you want in-stock items before your pre-order is ready, please order separately in two separate orders. Shipping would apply for each order separately, as they would be split up.

There are no duties/ clearance taxes to ship to USA or Canada. However, for international shipments, duties/ VAT/ clearance may apply to your order depending on your country's law and policy. Please check your country's VAT/duties/ taxes rates & policies for products entering your country from Canada (Where we ship from). These fees aare the responsibility of the customer. Orders are not refundable if the customer refuses to pay custom fees. Shipping couriers will force us to destroy the shipment if it hasn't been cleared or claimed from a customer for a long time. It is the responsibility of the receiver to claim and clear the fees in a timely manner.

You can cancel or change your order only before your order has been processed. Please contact as as soon as you place your order so we can better assist you (No cancellations or changes can be made after the order has been processed). You will have the best luck within 1-4 hours of placing your order. You can contact us with your request and we can check the order status. If the order has been processed by our warehouse, then unfortunately it will have to follow our return/ exchange policy for any changes. Customers are responsible for providing correct and accurate information at checkout and will be responsible for any additional fees required for re-shipping or address change/ redirection.

Our goal is to create the most enjoyable customer experience. Any product can be returned (in its original condition) for a full refund (except shipping) within 14 days of delivery date. If you would like to exchange or you have passed the 14 day refund window, we can exchange or give store credit within 30 days of delivery date. If you need to make a return, please send the unworn/ unused product in its original condition to our address and email us to start the return process. Cork is anti-microbial, so there is no need to worry about germs, mold or mildew forming and no need to clean regularly, the cork sanitizes itself naturally. After practice, lay the mat flat to air dry. If there is dirt or body oils, wipe the mat down with a wet soft cloth with warm water. Every once in a while you can use mild soap with water before stains settle. And please DO NOT put your Scoria yoga mat in the washing machine. 

Your yoga mat may have a mild rubber smell. After around 3-5 practices the smell will go away. You can lay the mat flat in a shaded area to air out after unpacking. 

The cork grains are bonded by light, water based eco adhesives to a natural base cloth under high temperature between natural rubber and cork. We use high temperature to make use of the already sticky quality of the natural latex in the rubber. No harsh or unsafe glues are used.

We use water-based non-toxic inks safe for the skin and breathing.

Cork loves heat, warmth, water and sweat. Our cork mats are functionally amazing in hot yoga as they will grip in the sweatiest of practice. The grip is activated when the body is warm and palms are sweaty. We encourage you to spray the mat with water until the body warms up. Another suggestion is to take your practice to a warmer room or a more enclosed area that can capture more humidity or heat; or to start the practice by exhaling into the fists to warm them up and closing the fists during your opening meditation.

No, no trees are cut down or harmed in the making of the mats. The cork is stripped from the tree after maturation (around 26 years), and is stripped again after every 9-12 years. The stripping of the cork is a sustainable process that allows cork to regenerate on the tree and unlike the myth of cork being endangered, it actually helps the process of producing more cork for the trees.

Unfortunately we do not customize one-of yoga mats at this time. However, we do accept customization for bulk orders. To wash outer the casing, remove and hand wash with cold water. To wash the inner casing, add filling into a bucket in a safe place prior to washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not wet the filling. Do not bleach. If washing instructions are not followed, shrinkage could occur.

Our meditation cushions are ethically manufactured in India at a GOTS certified factory. Our trusted partners offer a living wage and create jobs for 40+ employees, 42% of them being women.

All of our cushions are filled with natural, certified organic materials. Our meditation mats (zabutons) have a Kapok filling, whereas the rest of our cushions are filled with buckwheat hulls.

Our products are made in many different places, from all over the world. Our yoga mat's cork is sourced from Portugal. Rubber is sustainably harvested from Vietnam. Assembly and manufacturing (where the mat is laminated, manufactured, pressed and tested for safety) are from our responsible and trusted partners in China who are SGS certified. Our artists are from Europe, USA & Canada and designs are set up in Canada.
