For our standard shipping, please allow 1-2 business until we process your order and it is shipped. If you have chosen "Express" shipping option at checkout, we prioritize your order and only take 1 business day to process. We take this processing time to make sure that we pack our products with care and accuracy. Business days exclude Canadian holidays and weekends. Please be aware that "pre-order" items are shipped on the date that is stated under the product description.
Pre-order means you are ordering an item in advance before it is ready. We clearly state an item is a pre-order on the product title, product description, a warning pop up AND also at checkout to best communicate this to our customers.
Yes. If your order has both a pre-order and in-stock items, the order will be held until it can all be shipped together. If you want in-stock items before the pre-order is ready, please order separately in two separate orders as they will be shipped separately and shipping rates would apply for each order and shipment separately.

The customer is responsible of providing correct and accurate information at checkout. However, you may cancel or make a change on your order ONLY before your order has been processed. So please contact as as soon as you place your order so we can better assist you (No cancellations or changes can be made after the order has been processed). You will have the best luck within 3 hours of placing your order. You can email us at email@example.com with your request and we can check the order status. If the order has been processed by our warehouse, then unfortunately it will have to follow our return/ exchange policy for any changes.
Our goal is to create the most enjoyable customer experience. Any product can be returned (in its original condition) for a full refund (except shipping) within 14 days of delivery date. If you would like to exchange or you have passed the 14 day refund window, we can exchange or give store credit within 30 days of delivery date. If you need to make a return, please send the unworn/ unused product in its original condition to our address and email us to start the return process. Our shipments are currently coming from Canada, so please check your country's VAT/duties/ taxes rates & policies for products entering your country from this destination. Cork is anti-microbial, so there is no need to worry about germs, mold or mildew forming and no need to clean regularly, the cork sanitizes itself naturally. After practice, lay the mat flat to air dry. If there is dirt or body oils, wipe the mat down with a wet soft cloth with warm water. Every once in a while you can use mild soap with water before stains settle. And please DO NOT put your Scoria yoga mat in the washing machine.
There are no harmful glues or harsh chemicals added or used. The slight bit of glue is safe for use and human contact. The cork grains are bonded by light, water based eco adhesives to a natural base cloth under high temperature between natural rubber and cork. We use high temperature to make use of the already sticky quality of the natural latex in the rubber.
We use water-based non-toxic inks safe for the skin and breathing.
Cork loves heat, warmth, water and sweat. Our cork mats are functionally AMAZING in hot yoga as they will grip in the sweatiest of practice. The grip is activated when the body is warm and palms are sweaty. We encourage you to spray the mat with water until the body warms up. Another suggestion is to take your practice to a warmer room or a more enclosed area that can capture more humidity or heat; or to start the practice by exhaling into the fists to warm them up and closing the fists during your opening meditation.
No, no trees are cut down or harmed in the making of the mats. The cork is stripped from the tree after maturation (around 26 years), and is stripped again after every 9-12 years. The stripping of the cork is a sustainable process that allows cork to regenerate on the tree and unlike the myth of cork being endangered, it actually helps the process of producing more cork for the trees.
Only at first, your yoga mat may have a mild rubber smell, it is natural with the use of tree rubber. After around 3-5 practices the smell will go away. You can lay the mat flat in a shaded area to air out after unpacking.

Our products are made in many different places, from all over the world. Our yoga mat's cork is sourced from Portugal. Rubber is sustainably from Vietnam. Assembly and manufacturing where the mat is laminated and pressed and tested for safety using are from our responsible and trusted partners in China who are SGS certified. Our artists are from Europe, USA & Canada and designs are set up in Canada.
