The carbon emissions that are released for transportation and fuel energy adds up over time. If we can find a way to do something about these carbon emissions, why not participate? We continue to be committed to putting our funds and resources into initiatives that can help neutralize our carbon footprint and minimize our negative impact on mother gaia.

We are happy to announce, that now we are able to neutralize the carbon that results from your shipments through utilizing Shopify Planet. Through it, we donate to initiatives calculated according to weight of package, way of transportation, route and distance. Through Shopify Planet your shipping emissions are neutralized and carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere.

What is Carbon Removal
& How it works?

Carbon removal is the process of capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and then storing it. For example, if a truck or a plane that delivers your shipment releases 1 kg of carbon dioxide (CO₂) into the atmosphere, then through the donations, Shopify ensures that 1kg of CO₂ is also sucked from the atmosphere and stored away using solutions and technologies in Shopify Sustainability Fund.

There is a fast-growing and evolving sector with many carbon removal technologies in different stages of development. These technologies include nature-based solutions, such as reforestation and soil carbon sequestration and more high-tech solutions, such as direct air capture and mineralization.

Will there be a difference
in the way I receive my delivery?

Nothing will change with your delivery, we continue to use the best tracking service we can to deliver your shipment. We will also continue to minimize our packaging waste. Currently all our yoga mats and props ship zero-waste and plastic free. The only products that include plastic at this time is our yoga wheel. Our meditation cushions will also start being packaged with recycled plastic temporarily as we have been looking to improve our current and previous waste-free paper packaging; as we noticed it has been compromising a few cushion's quality due to the organic aspect of our meditation line.
